The UK Chapter’s goals and objectives
The UK Chapter will be working closely with other Chapters operation out of North America, Canada and Jamaica along with the International Executive Body to assist the school in achieving the following goals and objectives in the shortest possible time frame.
- Acquiring a set of 600 metal folding chairs for the Auditorium - $600 000.00
- Completing the upgrading of the Auditorium - $250 000.00
- Refurbishing of Library
- Completing the tiling of the Home Economics Centre - $88 000.00
- Further painting of the buildings - $250 000.00
- Erection of playing Field at Jordon
- Multipurpose Court at Jordon ($1 000 000.00 )
- Purchasing Equipment for a school band
- Repairs of building –To be done by the Ministry
- Building a new block over the next three years. This block will include 4 classrooms, a conference room and an Audio Visual Room - $18,000,000.00
- Assistance for needy students.
We will also continue to work on our medium to long term goals and objectives which include:
- Awards to needy students with excellent academic performance.
- An Award equivalent to the cost for at least 5 CXC subjects to the 4th
form student with best overall average.
- Provide a 3 year scholarship for the student with the best CXC and or A-Level passes to study at a University in the UK or USA.
- Refurbishing of the Chemistry Laboratory.
- Provide a Swimming pool for the school to extend and continue its dominance in sports.
